Приложения приложений Sphero для Android, не подключающиеся к роботу

Использование Android Studio, рекомендуемой IDE для разработки Android Sphero, я пытаюсь запустить пример приложений, поставляемых с SDK Sphero. Я могу их собрать, установить и отладить на моем устройстве (Google Nexus 5). Приложения, однако, не может подключиться к сферо 2.0 роботу:

Я спаренный телефон с робот и официальное приложение Sphero немедленно подключаются. Что мне не хватает?

EDIT: Я уже пробовал образцы приложений для Android Studio и Unity, и ни один из них не может подключаться. Официальное приложение продолжает функционировать должным образом. Я хочу, чтобы Orbotix выпустил код.

Поскольку эти образцы предназначены для API 22 (по крайней мере, на данный момент. Я имею это в своем списке дел для обновления до 23 и добавления примеров поддержки разрешений), вам не нужно беспокоиться о запросе разрешений во время выполнения. Однако, поскольку вы используете Nexus 5, я собираюсь угадать, что вы на Marshmallow. С новейшей ОС Android разрешения на размещение необходимы для сканирования и подключения к Bluetooth. Попробуйте добавить следующую строку в ваших прав в AndroidManifest.xml

Также вам нужно будет убедиться, что устройство уровня Location Services включены.
