В частности, для Linux вы создаете подкаталог kodi-build под рабочим пространством git и создаете там среду сборки. Построение вне дерева предпочтительнее, но аддоны будут нуждаться в построенном дереве в этом месте, поэтому следуйте их инструкциям по этому вопросу.
