Разделите, пожалуйста, файлы var/log/php_errors.log.<date>.php и xlite.log.<date>.php?

Фактическая ошибка должна быть там. Кроме того, yon может установить suppress_errors = Off и developer_mode = On в файле etc/config.php и снова запустить X-Cart, чтобы увидеть, показывает ли он фактическую ошибку прямо в браузере.
