Я получаю push-уведомления на устройстве iOS при отправке их с веб-сайта Urban Airship, но не могу понять, как отправить их из приложения ...

Я полагаю, вы забыли, чтобы начать свой NSURLConnection в -(void)sendPush.

[[NSURLConnection connectionWithRequest:request delegate:self] start];
