Question

Не знаете, где я ошибся. Я понимаю, что импорт UIKit позволит использовать метод numberOfSectionsInTableView ... Любая помощь приветствуется.

Вы объявляете свои методы в методе viewDidLoad. Objective-C не поддерживает вложенность метода. Исправьте весь код с его форматированием и добавьте недостающие} соответственно.
