Vim не выдерживает асинхронное управление заданиями и в основном моно-нить, так что он может сделать только одно за другим. Вы не можете набирать текст во время работы YCM.

Вы должны попробовать NeoVim, которые выдерживают это, это не решит вашу проблему, но сведёт к минимуму ее.
