Линейно-градиент не является Mixin в Компас. Это функция, которая предназначена для использования в сочетании с смесями background или background-image.

[linear-gradient] (http://bourbon.io/docs/#linear-gradient) существует как Bourbon mixin. Вы можете использовать [bourbon-compass] (https://github.com/jedfoster/bourbon-compass) для интеграции Bourbon с Compass. – Batandwa
